Qualifications:
Responsible for the content implementation and maintenance of PhiladelphiaFlyers.com
Has an understanding of interactive marketing, social networking and website management.
Bachelor or graduate degree in Digital Media, Visual Communications, Marketing, Communications or related majors.
Proficiency in, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office, Social Media Platforms required.
Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript a plus.
Creative mindset and exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
Enthusiastic teammate that isn\xe2\x80\x99t afraid to take risks and wear many hats.
Multi-talented content contributor with experience in copywriting, photography, videography, and/or graphic design is preferred.
Ability to travel and work nights, weekends and select holidays, in addition to traditional business hours is required.
Has a finger on the pulse of emerging digital trends, Philadelphia\xe2\x80\x99s social audiences, and is dedicated to increasing the connection to our current fans while attracting new fans through consumer website experience.
Sports background preferred.
Description/Duties
Operate the team\xe2\x80\x99s content management system (CMS) to update and maintain official site & app, including but not limited to: new pages, special sections, multimedia applications and sponsored content
Ensure that the website is optimized for search engines
Collaborate with sales and ticketing departments to fulfill all website requests
Work in partnership with the digital content team to achieve marketing objectives while creating authentic, measurable content.
Work with public relations and advertising staffs to coordinate marketing efforts around team news and website content.
Work with graphic and video teams to create digital assets across all digital channels to drive engagement.
Research and execute best practices and emerging offerings across all consumer brands.
Build website analytics reporting structure from multiple resources and produce regular updates for marketing department in an effort to present insights into the usage, performance, and success of digital initiatives.
Manage the production and trafficking of digital and creative assets.
Work with corporate partnerships team to execute new sponsorable products.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
