Northern Idaho Advanced Care Hospital in Post Falls, Idaho
is a long-term acute care hospital dedicated to patients with serious, medically complex conditions that require extended hospitalization and specialized care. We provide advanced critical care services for individuals recovering from severe illness or injury - including ventilator weaning and respiratory therapy, complex wound care, post-intensive care rehabilitation, and management of multiple organ system conditions. Our highly skilled team of physicians, critical care nurses, respiratory therapists, and rehabilitation specialists deliver around-the-clock care with a focus on stabilizing health and promoting recovery. The hospital features advanced monitoring equipment and all private rooms to enhance patient comfort and safety. North Idaho Advanced Care Hospital is expanding its services and will be opening an in-patient rehabilitation (IRU) unit to pair with its long-term acute care beds. The IRU will provide acute rehabilitation services to patients with neurologic, orthopedic, cardiac and respiratory disease. Qualifications:
Required Skills:
Current Dietitian license required or certified by the Commission on Dietetics, as required by state.
One year of experience in the care of patients in hospital setting preferred.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency
Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
Effective organizational and time management skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
Ability to utilize the appropriate leadership skills in delegating, organizing, and educating coworkers and staff.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates the preparation and serving of meals, in collaboration with the Food Services Manager, based on general or special diets. Specifies dietary requirements for patients with special restrictions or nutritional needs. Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
