We seek a Dietary Aide for a full-time schedule who would assist in the daily meal service of our kupuna. This position also assists in and around the kitchen in regards to maintaining cleanliness and preparation of meals.
Essential Functions
Performs a variety of tasks in the kitchen and dining room. Assists in the routine preparation of food both cooking and serving. Prepares coffee and tea service. Prepares cold items for meals by cutting, peeling, and washing vegetables and fruits. Pours water, milk and juices into individual glasses for meals. Set up cold food carts, pushes them out into the dining room and set-up services station for meals. Sets residents' trays on serving board of hot food cart for cook to serve the hot food. Pour coffee and tea, with refills as needed. Cleans tables and chairs at the conclusion of each meal service. Scrapes, stacks, washes dishes, glassware and utensils by hand or machine at the end of each meal service. Cleans kitchen and dining area for daily inspections. Empty trash into the dumpster. End of the day, cleans out dishwasher, counters, and coffee and tea machines
Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED * Able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
