Job Profile Summary:
Delivers Direct And Indirect Nursing Care To A Group Of Patients Through The Use Of The Nursing Process In Collaboration With And As Directed By Physicians And Pursuant To The Objectives And Policies Of The System.
Responsibilities:Responsible for providing clinical anesthesia services while leading, supervising, and managing the CRNA and CAA staffing team. This position ensures high-quality, safe, and cost-effective anesthesia care and serves as the primary liaison between department staff, anesthesiologists, surgeons, hospital leadership, and other healthcare providers. Collaborate with the Director of Anesthesia in recruitment, hiring, orientation, and retention of department staff. Provide mentorship, address staff concerns, be a staff resource for facilitating communication between staff and the Director of Anesthesia. When assigned, help with special projects to develop, update, and enforce policies, procedures, and practice guidelines. Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, resource allocation, strategic planning, and quality improvement. Help with developing new clinical practice guidelines and techniques. Educate and train staff as indicated. * Assist with quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes.
