Job Title: Deployment Manager

Location: Providence, RI (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

Hours per week: 35

Duration: 12+months (with possible extension)

Key Responsibilities

Lead Deployment Strategy:

Plan, coordinate, and execute deployments for RIDEM's Salesforce platforms and related technologies.

Deployment Planning:

Develop and manage comprehensive deployment plans, including timelines, resources, testing, and risk management.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Work with internal teams (business units, UAT, programs) and external vendors to deliver successful deployments.

Stakeholder Communication:

Serve as the primary point of contact for deployment communications, ensuring transparency and timely updates.

Change and Release Management:

Track and manage bugs, enhancements, and system changes through development, testing, and production release.

Performance Reporting:

Prepare progress reports, metrics, and post-deployment evaluations for RIDEM leadership.

Change Management:

Design and implement communication, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies to support system adoption.

Contract and Budget Oversight:

Manage software licenses, vendor deliverables, and budgetary impacts related to technology deployments.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in

deployment management or project management

in a technology-driven environment. Proven experience managing

complex, multi-stakeholder deployments

, preferably in public sector or client-facing environments. Strong understanding of

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

and

Agile

methodologies. Exceptional

problem-solving, communication, and leadership

skills. Demonstrated ability to

coordinate cross-functional teams

and deliver under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with

Salesforce platforms

(configuration, deployment, or administration). Proficiency with

Microsoft Project

,

Teams

, and other project management tools. Knowledge of

ITIL frameworks

,

CI/CD pipelines

, and

automation tools

.

PMP

or equivalent project management certification. Prior experience supporting technology initiatives in

public sector

environmental

regulatory

organizations.

Technical Competencies
