Job Overview

A premier dental practice in Tacoma, WA, is seeking a skilled and licensed Part-Time Denturist to design, fabricate, and fit high-quality dentures for patients. This role is ideal for parents with school-age children or professionals seeking flexible part-time work, offering hours that accommodate personal commitments. Candidates must have a valid denturist license and proven expertise in full denture fabrication and fitting; those without these specific qualifications should not apply. Key Responsibilities

- Fabricate dentures in the lab, including tooth setting, wax try-ins, and acrylic processing to ensure optimal fit and aesthetics.

- Collaborate with the dental team to review complex cases and ensure treatment plans meet patient needs.

- Maintain and calibrate clinical and lab equipment to meet infection control and safety standards.

- Conduct quality control checks on all dentures prior to patient delivery, ensuring durability and precision.

- Manage inventory of clinical and lab materials, coordinating with the office for timely reordering.

- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA, state dental regulations, and denturist licensing requirements.

Qualifications

- Valid Washington State Denturist License (required); National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology (NB C) certification preferred.

- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a denturist, with expertise in full denture design, fabrication, and fitting.

- Proficiency in all phases of denture prosthetics, including impressions, tooth arrangement, processing, and clinical adjustments.

- Strong clinical skills with excellent manual dexterity and attention to aesthetic and functional detail.

- Exceptional patient communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and deliver outstanding care.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
