Well-established, solo-practitioner Dental Office in Bel Air, MD looking for a full time Dental Sterilization Tech. Great collective, benefit package available for full-time employees. Experience is not required. We will provide on-the-job training for all required duties to ensure that you succeed in your job.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Properly operate sterilization equipment such as steam autoclaves and ultrasonic equipment.
- Decontaminates and sterilizes instruments and assembles basic instrument kits.
- Sorts mismatched sets of instruments and makes them available to sterile processing in a timely manner.
- Verifies that equipment functions properly.
- Keeps sterilization rooms in neat and organized condition and free from hazards.
- Cleans and disinfects treatment rooms after use.
- Maintains accurate, complete and organized logs of sterilization runs.
- Greets and seats patients in treatment rooms.
- Assists Dental Hygienist with Periodontal charting.
