Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Supervisor to oversee demolition projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities. This role requires a thorough understanding of safety regulations, project scheduling, and quality control processes to ensure that all demolition activities are completed efficiently and safely.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate demolition activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, including OSHA requirements. Manage project schedules using construction management software Review contracts and ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines. Conduct regular inspections of the worksite to maintain quality control and ensure that work is performed according to blueprints and schematics. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and resolve any issues that arise during the demolition process. Train and mentor team members on proper demolition techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical assessments when necessary. Prepare reports on project progress, budget adherence, and resource allocation.

Skills

Strong understanding of construction processes, budgeting, estimating, and project scheduling. Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately. Demonstrated experience in supervising teams within a construction or demolition environment. Knowledge of quality control measures specific to demolition projects. Familiarity with pipeline projects and associated regulatory requirements is a plus. Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
