We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivery vehicles efficiently.
Duties
Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle, ensuring safe handling of products.
Operate a pallet jack and other equipment as needed for efficient loading and unloading.
Drive routes to deliver products to customers, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal operating conditions.
Manage delivery schedules effectively, ensuring timely arrivals at each destination.
Handle heavy lifting and moving of products as required by the job demands.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and any necessary documentation.
Skills
Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
Experience with route driving and commercial driving regulations is beneficial.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing delivery records.
