Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Deckhand to join our team. The Deckhand plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vessel while providing exceptional service to our fleet. This position requires a combination of mechanical knowledge, mariner skills, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Responsibilities

Assist in the daily operations of the vessel, including maintenance and cleaning tasks. Operate and maintain deck equipment and machinery, ensuring all tools are in good working condition. Support the crew in rigging activities, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during operations. Participate in safety drills and adhere to all safety regulations while onboard. Collaborate with fellow crew members to maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge is preferred for troubleshooting equipment issues. Previous experience is required. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with others. A strong commitment to safety practices and procedures. Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks as required by the crew.
Qualified deckhand candidates must be safety-conscious and able to work in a physically demanding environment.

The work schedule is 14 & 7. 7 days 5am-5pm, 7 nights 5pm-5am, 7 days off.

All applicants must have a TWIC card, and must pass a pre-employment physical examination and drug screen.

All applicants must to have reliable transportation and valid drivers license.
