: Our client is seeking a highly skilled DB2 DBA/Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for database administration, database sizing, and performance tuning, database cold and hot backups and restores, Linux skills, Disaster Recovery, Ansible, DevOps pipeline for DB2, Siebel database schemas, IIDR (IBM Infosphere Data Replication), Confluent Kafka, and AWS cloud.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DB2 database administration, architecture, and support
• Deep knowledge of Siebel database schemas is required, or working knowledge of DB2 used as a backed database with any other enterprise product (Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, SAP, etc. is preferred)
• Hands-on experience with IIDR (IBM Infosphere Data Replication) and an understanding of the CDC (Change Data Capture) process is a must
• Should be able to understand Kafka and troubleshoot any issues related to data replication using IIDR
• Basic knowledge of cloud-related technologies and some working knowledge of AWS cloud, and should be able to manage database instances on cloud containers such as Kubernetes/EC2, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the DB2 database environment, including performance tuning, backups, restores, and disaster recovery
• Develop and maintain DevOps pipeline for DB2
• Work with Siebel database schemas and other enterprise products like Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, SAP, etc.
• Troubleshoot any issues related to data replication using IIDR
• Have a basic knowledge of cloud-related technologies and working knowledge of AWS cloud
• Able to manage database instances on cloud containers such as Kubernetes/EC2, etc.
