Key Responsibilities

The Daycare Teacher plays a crucial role in supporting and ensuring a positive, inclusive learning experience for all children.

Curriculum & Instruction Support:

Assist in the successful implementation of daily

curriculum and lesson plans

. Support instructional activities, adapting approaches to meet

diverse learning styles

and individual student needs.

Child Supervision & Care:

Provide attentive

supervision and support

to children in a preschool/daycare setting. Assist with essential care needs, including

feeding, diapering, and adhering to naptime routines

.

Inclusion & Behavior Management:

Implement

individualized strategies and accommodations

to effectively support children with special needs, including those with autism. Assist in applying positive

behavior management techniques

to foster a respectful and cohesive learning environment.

Collaboration & Communication:

Collaborate seamlessly

with the team to assess student progress and contribute to classroom documentation. Provide timely and practical

feedback to parents/guardians

regarding their child's day and development.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

Strong Communication:

Ability to effectively interact and build rapport with children, parents/guardians, and team members.

Empathy and Patience:

A genuine, nurturing approach when working with young children and those with special needs.

Child Development Knowledge:

Solid understanding of

child development principles

and best practices in early childhood education.

Adaptability:

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust strategies based on evolving classroom needs.

Teamwork and Organization:

Excellent organizational skills to assist with classroom preparation and the ability to

collaborate effectively

as part of a teaching team.

Experience & Certifications

Experience:

Teaching: 1 year

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
