Job Description
JB INDUSTRIES is the leader in refrigeration tools and accessories based in Aurora, IL . JB was founded in 1967 and is an award-winning manufacturing company that distributes its products to industrial wholesalers and OEM's.
Our manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Davenport Screw Machine operator and setup lead who can work on a variety of screw machines to help enhance the productivity of our organization.
JOB DUTIES:
Set-up Davenport machine jobs for production
Resolve machining problems (troubleshooting)
Maintain machines by implementing daily preventative maintenance
Reduce scrap, rework and cycle times
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
1st Shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (with optional overtime throughout the year)
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to lift 40lbs
Basic knowledge of Shop Mathematics
Knowledge of Davenport (5 spindle automatic screw) machines
Knowledge of machining processes & tools
Knowledge of blueprints, quality inspection tools & procedures
Experience using various hand tools
2+ Years of Davenport and/or screw machine experience
Must be open to a variety of machining duties as needed
