About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced

Databricks Developer

with

5-6 years of professional experience

to join our client in the

Financial Services industry

. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in

Databricks

,

Azure

, and exposure to

Master Data Management (MDM)

and/or

FISSEE

. This role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, ensuring scalability, governance, and compliance within a financial domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes on

Databricks

.

Leverage

Azure cloud services

for data ingestion, processing, and integration.

Work with

MDM (Master Data Management)

and

FISSEE

to manage, cleanse, and govern enterprise data.

Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business teams to build scalable data solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

5-6 years of overall IT/Data Engineering experience

, with proven expertise as a

Databricks Developer

.

Strong hands-on experience with

Databricks

(Pyspark/Spark SQL).

Solid knowledge of

Azure cloud services

(Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse, etc.).

Exposure to

Master Data Management (MDM)

and/or

FISSEE

.

Must have prior experience working in the

Financial Services / Banking / Capital Markets

domain.

Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and regulatory standards in finance.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have (Preferred):

Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, or data governance frameworks.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data engineering.

Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
