Duties

Perform and guide data analysis to determine conditions and trends of natural resources. Apply technical knowledge of sampling and spatial statistics to design and manage statistically valid survey designs for natural resources.
Develop or support the development of authoritative reports to summarize common natural resource and/or ecological monitoring findings and recommendations for management decisions.
Provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control of monitoring data. Manage natural resource and ecological monitoring data (e.g., geodatabases) and associated files.
Implement and participate in coordinating and implementing training efforts of natural resource and ecological monitoring and provide consistency in training materials within the organization.
Oversee and/or direct the monitoring field crew to meet planned work accomplishments or data collection needs in support of Land Health Evaluations, RMP effectiveness, and other permitted uses on BLM managed lands.
