The Cycle Counter verifies inventory, assists in physical inventories, and supports the process of accurate material movements.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Analyzes work in process and raw material inventory to insure proper counts and descriptions. Supports minimizing obsolete inventory with inventory accuracy and disposition of excess material. Generates reports to share with Coaches and Managers to define inventory accuracy issues and recommend solutions to problems. Must be able to do root-cause analysis to include reason and individuals involved for corrective action. Participates in corrective action discussions to define solutions and participates in implementation of new methods / procedures. Set up and maintain ABC cycle count program within the system. Report results consistently to maintain awareness of issues. Support accurate use of Scanners to include implementation into new areas of control. Support Lean initiatives designed to reduce inventory and increase inventory turns. Participate in work groups to support improvements on the shop floor.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Must demonstrate good computer skills to include data entry, analysis, and execution within the system. Above average Microsoft Excel skills needed. Excellent communication skills, both written and orally. Must be able to work independently and efficiently with multiple deadlines. Detail oriented. Must be professional and have a good work ethic.
