Job Summary


We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Customer Service Coordinator to join our supply chain and logistics team. This role involves managing customer relationships, coordinating order fulfillment, and supporting supply chain operations through data analysis and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of warehouse management, transportation systems, and procurement processes, and be capable of leveraging tools such as SQL, ERP systems, and supply chain analytics to optimize service delivery. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient logistics operations while developing expertise in supply chain management.

Responsibilities



Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to order status, shipping, and delivery issues. Coordinate with warehouse distribution centers to ensure timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to manage vendor relationships and ensure inventory levels meet demand planning requirements. Utilize data analysis skills and tools such as Tableau and SQL to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify root causes of delays or errors, and implement process improvements. Oversee inventory management and control processes, including stocking, materials handling, and warehouse experience to optimize stock levels. Manage freight logistics, including 3PL providers, NVOCC operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and transportation planning for efficient order fulfillment. Assist in contract negotiations with vendors and carriers to optimize pricing strategies while maintaining quality standards. Support demand planning activities by analyzing sales trends, forecasting needs, and coordinating with production planning teams. Contribute to supply chain analytics initiatives aimed at enhancing overall efficiency, cost reduction, and profit & loss management. Ensure compliance with safety standards during materials handling operations such as forklift operation or mechanical tasks.

Qualifications



Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, or logistics roles with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as Sage X3, SAP or AS400), and transportation management systems. Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, Tableau, or other analytics tools; experience with data collection and report generation is essential. Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing, vendor management, contracts, pricing strategies, and category management. Experience with freight forwarding (including NVOCC), shipping & receiving procedures, inventory control, demand planning, production planning, and materials management. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment such as forklifts is a plus. Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to analyze supply chain data for process improvements. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments including logistics providers, suppliers, and internal teams. This role is integral to ensuring seamless supply chain operations through proactive customer service coordination combined with analytical insights that drive continuous improvement efforts within our organization.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
