Geotab is seeking a Customer Care Advisor who will be the account manager, and who will be responsible for the ongoing care of their assigned customers as their first point of contact. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:



As a Customer Care Advisor, your key area of responsibility will be to manage the customer relationship and help manage allocation of team resources against customer priorities. You will be responsible to focus efforts on account growth through understanding the customer and delivering intelligent solutions to their problems, with the ultimate goal of driving customer satisfaction and revenue. You will need to manage relationships both inside and outside the organisation. To be successful in this role, you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and have a strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong analytical and project management skills with an ability to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage projects through completion.




How you\xe2\x80\x99ll make an impact:

    • Function as the reseller to the Direct Customers of Geotab. Be the liaison between, Customers, Finance and Product to ensure our customers\' voice is being heard.
    • Manage the customer relationship and help manage allocation of team resources against customer priorities.
    • Create, evaluate, and implement strategic engagement plans for the growth and development of opportunities across direct customers groups.
    • Devise and deploy all business development goals and objectives pertaining to the growth of Geotabs\xe2\x80\x99 existing customer base and additional markets around the globe.
    • Provide expert leadership and guidance as SME:
    • Develop a deep knowledge base of the industry and maintain top-of-mind awareness of complexities of multinational accounts and how to meet their needs.
    • Develop Quarterly Business Reviews with the Signature team for Direct Accounts.
    • Assist in the creation and follow up on orders, RMAs and tickets as needed.
    • Collaborate with leadership to develop short and long term strategic plans to increase the Direct accounts engagement with the Geotab ecosystem.
    • This position may be remote, therefore must be flexible with work schedule to accommodate different time zones.
    • Occasional customer hands-on visits, in garages, warehouses, parking lots with high-vis vest and safety glasses
    • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.


What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring to this role:

    • 3-5 + years experience in enterprise account management or a similar role.
    • Degree specialization in Engineering, Business, Computer Science or a related field
    • MBA/Masters in a relevant field highly valued.
    • Experience in fleet management, fleet maintenance, or another automotive sector.
    • Experience in telematics is an asset.
    • Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements.
    • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with delivering presentations and training.
    • Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion.
    • Analytical skills with the ability to use data to solve problems.
    • Time management skills.
    • Must stay relevant to technology and should have the flexibility to adapt to the growing technology and market demands.
    • Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
