We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial or residential cleaning and janitorial tasks. This role is vital in ensuring a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Janitorial cleaning staff needed for a VA medical facility in Meadville, Pa.

This is a Monday through Friday position; we are looking for 2 candidates for 3 hours each, 1pm to 4pm, OR 1 candidate for 6 hours, 10am to 4pm. Candidate(s) must have transportation, be reliable and have good people skills.

Job Duties:

Sweep

Wet mop

Dusting

Vacuum

Clean/Disinfect restrooms and restock supplies

Empty trash

Clean/Disinfect solid surfaces

Other janitorial duties determined by the supervisor

Requirements:

Must be able to pass state and federal background check

Must have dependable transportation/drivers license

Must be able to walk/stand for up to 3 or 6 hours at a time

Must be dependable and responsible

Must be able to pass drug test/CCSS is a drug free company

CCSS is an EOE

1 year experience in commercial cleaning in a medical environment preferred

Job Type: Part-time - 15 to 30 hours a week

Starting salary: $13.50 /hour, Reviewed in 60 days or less.

Qualifications

Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance roles preferred. Experience with commercial or medical cleaning environments is highly desirable. Ability to operate cleaning machinery and tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Pay: From $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 - 30.0 per week
