Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Assistant to join our team and assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in our long term facility.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals following dietary guidelines
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained throughout all food preparation stages
- Provide excellent customer service to residents during meal times
- Collaborate with the dietary department to meet residents' dietary needs
- Support the cook in meal preparation and food handling tasks
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Culinary Assistant or similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of food production and meal preparation techniques
- Familiarity with assisted living or healthcare food service is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow dietary guidelines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
