Major Duties & Responsibilities


Support the lending team by working within loan analysis software to input and review tax returns, debt schedules, personal financial statements, collateral, and appraisal data. Assist in preparing, tracking, and analyzing credit and financial information--including balance sheets, income statements, projections, credit scoring, global cash flow, and stress testing--to help determine each borrower's financial strength and repayment ability. Contribute to the preparation of clear, thorough credit presentations for use by loan officers and committees, ensuring every decision is grounded in accuracy and care. Monitor overall compliance with Bank's Appraisal Policy, prepare internal evaluations for loans that meet the requirements, manage the ordering and receipt of appraisals, perform appraisal reviews, addendums, and endorsements, and re-evaluate commercial appraisals at the time of subsequent renewal. Assist in preparing various reports for monthly and quarterly Board presentations. Help assist in providing regulators and auditors with timely, accurate information to demonstrate the Bank's compliance with loan review policies, procedures, and reserve adequacy methods. Your attention to detail in reporting helps ensure transparency and reliability at every level. Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, the Office of Foreign Assets Control and security policies and procedures. All employees are expected to actively promote Legacy Bank to existing and prospective customers in order to obtain and build the Bank's customer base and thereby enhance Legacy Bank's growth and profitability. A college degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. 0-2 years of experience in credit, banking, or a related financial field; recent graduates with relevant coursework or internships are encouraged to apply. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail for reviewing financial documents and ensuring compliance. Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal).




Preferred Technical Skills (Not required, but will set you apart)


Financial analysis and risk assessment experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling Understanding of lending principles and regulatory compliance standards Familiarity with appraisal processes and title documentation

Physical Requirements





Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.




Working Conditions





Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.




Mental and/or Emotional Requirements





Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
