Experiential Creative Brand Designer

Custom Fabrication / Production Company in Rahway, NJ working in the following industries: Broadway, Movies, Special Events, Retail, Permanent Installations and Trade Shows. We build unique, detailed installations that encompass a broad variety of specifications. Our environment is fast-paced and we handle multiple projects with rapid lead-times and firm deadlines.

The Role and What You'll Do:

As a Designer, you have a deep understanding of the demands of graphic design for traditional, digital and experiential media. You strive to produce innovative, memorable, cross-channel work that is of the caliber that represents the brands we work for and stand out to be recognized in industry and around the world.

You have a sharp eye for detail who can create and execute daily design deliverables across a wide variety of creative mediums and are obsessed with every facet of design - typography, layout, color, illustration, and the latest tools and tricks. You pride yourself on striving for award-winning design solutions and have experience creating work across a variety of platforms including branding, identity design, print, digital, OOH, experiential, and more (motion design a plus).?

Requirements

Work collaboratively in a team environment to ensure brand consistency across client initiatives Adhere to timeline and manage priorities to meet milestones and deadlines Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp and other necessary programs. Work in collaboration with Project Managers, Creative Directors, Production, Copywriters, Developers and other Creative/Interactive personnel Prepare and present concepts and designs at internal check-ins and client presentations Design experience within a branding shop, design firm, ad agency or similar setting, Degree in graphic design, marketing/communication design or similar field Digital design portfolio of standout creative Basic knowledge of motion a plus Strong organizational and archiving skills Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic, adaptable to changing hours and demands, with ability to re-focus and develop new options when needed Excellent verbal and written communication skills 3+ years of professional design experience, backed by a portfolio that demonstrates strong visual storytelling and versatility Expertise in color theory, typography, and designing for diverse multimedia platforms Keeps ahead of trends in advertising, culture, and current events Agile and adaptable, seamlessly managing multiple projects and clients Versatile designer skilled across multiple disciplines
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $350.00 - $400.00 per day

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
