Introduction:



Common Ground Hospitality is on the hunt for a talented and innovative Corporate Chef. This role is pivotal in our culinary operations, requiring a blend of creative recipe development, astute cost management, and menu innovation. The Corporate Chef will be responsible for leading the culinary team, ensuring the creation of exceptional dishes that align with current trends and seasonal availability, while also maintaining operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:



Oversee the kitchen team, promoting a culture of culinary excellence and creativity. Develop new recipes and cost them effectively to meet both quality standards and financial goals. Analyze product mix reports to make strategic menu adjustments. Stay informed of culinary trends and seasonal ingredient fluctuations to optimize menu offerings. Ensure high standards of food quality, kitchen cleanliness, and safety. Manage supplier relationships for sourcing quality ingredients and effective inventory control. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering skill development and adherence to culinary standards. Develop Kitchen Leads and coach them to be able to run the kitchen effectively in absence of the Kitchen Manager. Collaborate with the restaurant management team to align culinary and business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:



At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role, or as an Executive Chef, in a high-volume restaurant. Demonstrated understanding of order guides, including pars, usage, and how to adjust ordering needs effectively. Strong capability in recipe development and understanding of cost analysis. Proficiency in analyzing product mix reports and making data-driven menu decisions. Knowledge of current culinary trends and seasonal ingredient pricing. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
