The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. Purpose:
Works with company, parts, and service leadership team to increase efficiencies in aftermarket operations. Responsible for execution of aftermarket strategies for assigned areas. Works with CPM, CSM, PMs and SMs to build and execute training strategies. Consistently exhibits Midwest Machinery Company's core purpose and values.
Responsibilities:
Manages the service technician intern pipeline
Completes all service technician onboarding training for assigned areas
Execute forklift training strategy
Work with CPM and SSM to report and update progress on JDU credits to goal
Completes Turf Team sales calls for CP/CCE sales without Turf Team packages attached
Completes PowerGard sales calls for CP/CCE sales without PowerGard packages attached
Completes Green Shield sales calls for CUT units under Green Shield protection
Monitor, triage and help resolve Expert Alerts in assigned area
Execute service Machine Health Monitor strategy
Ensure parts and service departments are compliant with NMQ requirements
Keep parts and service departments up to date on JDF multi-use account changes
Manage company uniform program
Assist CPM with parts process audits
Assist CPM with IRS rebate tracking
Provide stores with WIP and Open ticket reporting as month end approaches
Maintains and promotes a safe work environment. Demonstrates understanding of and ability to follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Performs other duties as assigned
Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:
Associate degree or equivalent experience required; bachelor's degree preferred
3-5 years' experience in managing Service Department operations
Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and within a group
Excellent understanding of financial principles relative to Service Department operations
Familiar with John Deere and competitive products
Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
Basic business knowledge and math skills
Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
Physical and Mental and Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record required
Must pass a pre-employment background study
