Our business is growing at an incredible rate, and we are looking for a Corporate Accountant to join Sweetwater's Accounting team to support our growing organization! We are looking to hire a dynamic, experienced accountant to be responsible for recording transactions and maintaining, improving, and building out reconciliations and analysis as the company expands and grows. Additional responsibilities within this role will include helping to improve processes and adapt to new technologies and software that will allow for a more efficient and effective month-end close process. To ensure success in this role, you should be able to successfully communicate and articulate month-end results and quantitative data to decision-makers. Ultimately, a top-notch Corporate Accountant should display exceptional knowledge of best financial practices and business acumen.

Job Responsibilities:

Preparation and booking of month-end journal entries Use of critical problem-solving skills to produce accurate financial records Complete financial analysis to support month-end reconciliations Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures Develop a deep understanding of our systems and technologies to help solve problems Create and maintain ad-hoc reporting and analysis Assist with interim and year-end audit engagement Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 2+ years of experience in the accounting field CPA or CPA candidate preferred Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience working with accounting software A keen eye for detail Critical thinking and analytical problem solving Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate with team members and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to build quality relationships with internal stakeholders

This is an in-office role.

Relocation to our state-of-the-art campus and headquarters in Fort Wayne, IN is required
