JOB DESCRIPTION

The Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness program at CIIS invites applications for a core faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor that begins in July 2023. We invite applications from qualified candidates who specialize in Archetypal and Transpersonal studies or a related field, especially with respect to cosmology, cultural history, the arts, and/or gender.

The Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness graduate program offers online and residential M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Philosophy and Religion. Our graduate degrees are motivated by the desire to help shape the intellectual, moral, and spiritual leadership necessary in our own day for meeting the complex, interlocking challenges facing human beings and the Earth itself. In doing so, we seek new and transformative pathways across multiple disciplines, including an expanded vision of philosophy, cosmology, and consciousness inspired by the world\'s spiritual traditions, the natural sciences, Indigenous lifeways, esoteric approaches, depth psychology, environmental humanities, and integral ecologies.
