WHAT YOU\'LL DO

We are in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Contracts Analyst to support BCG\'s Public Sector Practice Area. This position will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our contract management processes. The successful candidate will assist the team by providing preliminary review of agreements and solicitations, managing contract documentation, and assisting with the tracking of BCG\'s contract portfolio and other matters. Responsibilities include supporting contracts and business opportunities with the U.S. federal government and state, local, and multilateral organizations in the public sector. Core focus areas include:

  • Contract administration
  • Contract tracking and document management
  • Additional contracts-related coordination and support
Contract Administration
  • Perform initial reviews of Requests for Proposals/Quotes (RFP/RFQs), teaming agreements, and other documents, ensuring that key terms & conditions align with BCG\'s policies and standard practices.
  • Summarize preliminary observations and coordinate final review and approval by senior contracts managers, BCG\'s legal team, and other functions.
  • Complete standard forms, such as company representations & certifications, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
  • Assist with summarizing and announcing new contract awards to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to proposal efforts, including pricing, administrative content development, editing, formatting, compliance, and final submission of proposals.
Contract Tracking and Document Management
  • Manage a shared contracts/subcontracts archive, ensuring files are complete, well-organized, and accessible to the team using SharePoint and other platforms and systems.
  • Proactively coordinate with internal and external parties to track the status of draft agreements and gather copies of final documentation.
  • Keep a meticulous log of the BCG\'s contracts and vehicles along with their key provisions, ensuring that entries are accurate and up to date.
  • Offer regular reports and updates on contract status, progress, and related issues.
Additional Contracts-Related Coordination and Support
  • Aid the Contracts team in maintaining tools and systems, such as Trello and SharePoint, for tracking various proposal opportunities, contracts, and other matters and support requests.
  • Acquaint yourself with BCG\'s policies and standard approaches to respond with pre-determined guidance when suitable.
  • Assist the team in developing materials that consolidate existing guidelines and strategies for frequently encountered situations and support requests.
  • Take on special projects, market research assignments, and other public-sector business support duties as required.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • Minimum 3 years\' experience with government contracts, preferably in a professional services context.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Strong understanding and experience with public sector acquisition concepts, processes, and terminology.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and a desire to learn and explore new software tools and systems.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This role currently requires 3 days a week in office presence. This provides flexibility the remaining 40% of the work week. This hybrid work plan allows for critically important learning, collaboration, and networking with our colleagues. Specific days in the office are agreed upon by the team.

Compensation information:

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG\'s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
