We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Mortgage Processor to join our financial services team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing mortgage loan documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and facilitating smooth loan processing from application to closing. Duties
Review and verify mortgage loan documentation for completeness and accuracy
Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and escrow officers to facilitate the loan process
Prepare and process contracts, disclosures, and other legal documents in compliance with federal and state regulations
Conduct credit analysis and assess borrower financial information to determine loan eligibility
Ensure adherence to FNMA guidelines, TILA regulations, and Fair Housing laws throughout the processing cycle
Manage loan origination workflows, including data entry using 10-key typing and basic math calculations
Monitor escrow accounts and ensure proper documentation for mortgage servicing
Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide updates on loan status
Maintain organized records of all loan files in accordance with company policies
Skills
Strong knowledge of FNMA guidelines, underwriting processes, and mortgage servicing procedures
Experience with loan origination, processing, and credit analysis within the financial services or banking industry
Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations, TILA disclosures, and mortgage contracts
Proficiency in basic math skills including escrow calculations and financial assessments
Ability to perform 10-key typing efficiently for data entry tasks
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure compliance and accuracy
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, lenders, and regulatory agencies
Knowledge of loan officer functions is a plus but not required; a background in banking or financial services is beneficial

Pay: $51,142.20 - $61,590.61 per year
