Job Description


Overview: Provides administrative contract support to Contract Managers and Director under direct supervision.
Major Position Responsibilities:

  • Administers assigned contracts including compliance assurance with contract terms and conditions with specific emphasis made to the \xe2\x80\x9cContracts\xe2\x80\x9d policies and procedures at the corporate, division and local levels.
  • Identifies problems that threaten contract performance and reports them to the Contracts
  • Reviews performance requirements ensuring contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications and government Monitors company performance on contractual obligations.
  • Assures timely submission of contract
  • Generates correspondence to the customer and interacts with customer counterpart as authorized by the Contracts Manager through emails, letters, telephone and face to face contacts
  • Initiates internal documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractua
  • Attends IPT meetings and internal program meetingstructures contractual items to company business
  • Structures contractual items to company business strategy

  • Completes routine to moderately complex contract closeouts
  • Prepares and coordinates Proposal Action Forms, database contract entries, DD250/WAWF, etc
  • Facilitates timely payments and resolves any contractual payment issues with assistance from Contracts Manager, when required
  • Administers and negotiates contract pricing with the customer.
  • Implements moderately complex contracts that comply with company and government regulations ensuring contract is in accordance with legal requirements and customer specifications
  • Assures that the commodity is delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price and meets the quality standards of the company
  • Maintains timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices and other documents to assure accurate retention of records
  • Coordinates appropriate methods needed to distribute commodity in a cost effective manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in a business related field - Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, etc
  • 1-3 years\' experience in contracts, subcontracts and procurement
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Interpersonal skills, excellet written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position as well as the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel, including internal and external customers
  • Must be able to work within a team concept
  • Tavel minimal for this position
