Job Description

The Content Specialist is responsible for planning, writing and publishing blogs, recipes, and other campaign content for The United Family and its related brands . In addition, they will oversee email, push notification, text messaging and other communication channels. The Content Specialist will execute planned ad content on homes page and mobile apps.

Key Responsibilities :

• Execute website and app campaigns and content that meet our business objectives to drive brand awareness, engagement, app downloads and product sales.
• Collaborating with marketing teams and leadership to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy, writing in the brand\xe2\x80\x99s voice and tone.
• Execute planned home page content for primary and secondary messaging
• Write, edit and publish seasonal and campaign relevant blogs
• Execute lead generation plans, using tools like Hubspot to generate leads
• Source and publish and manage recipe content
• Manage event calendars and registration tools for in-store events
• Use tools to research trending topics and produce related content
• Update location pages to improve SEO
• Manage and optimize SEO for all owned websites conducting periodic SEO audits
• Support social media content as needed
• Perform other duties as requested or required by management.
  

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or other related field
• Experience writing marketing and publishing engaging content
• Hubspot certifications are a plus
• Awareness of SEO and how content supports search results
• Knowledge of best practices for website and app content
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent copywriting and editing
• Able to handle shifting priorities, manage work and self with little direction
• Well organized and able to get work done through others
• Ability to think creatively and strategically
• Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
• Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
