Position Summary


Murata Power Solutions is looking for a Content Marketing Assistant, responsible for driving the implementation, coordination, and execution of our marketing plans to reach target audiences and meet marketing objectives including improving online presence and brand awareness. Reporting to the Content Marketing Manager and supporting development and marketing of branded content in the form of digital advertising, tradeshow collateral, emails, social media posts, YouTube videos, webinars, technical articles, data sheets, website updates, press releases, and infographics. Temporary position that could possibly lead to permanent, flexible hybrid work schedule with 2 remote days per week.

Job Duties/Responsibilities


  • Support the execution of marketing plans across the company\xe2\x80\x99s business units based on business strategy, from plan to completion to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Create, write, and review content to strengthen messaging in line with content strategy - such as digital banner ads, social media posts, PowerPoint presentations, web copy, videos, and digital sales collateral.
  • Project manage tradeshow logistics, booth graphics, marketing materials, financial paperwork, and digital tradeshow promotions.
  • Execute marketing plan tactics, including Google Adwords digital ads, video development, emails, new website updates, paid media, and digital distributor campaigns
  • Develop and create engaging content in the form of written, video, and photo assests for digital platforms. Support Graphic Designer with creative asset design via Adobe Photoshop.


Job Duties/Responsibilities Cont.


  • Collaborate with Marketing Content Manager to create a content development calendar.
  • Support and launch new social media marketing campaigns with goal of increasing followers and brand engagement.
  • Research best practices for digital marketing, social media, and video production and apply trends for informed marketing campaigns.
  • Assess KPI\xe2\x80\x99s (key performance indicators) for efficiency of campaigns, perform analysis, and present key accomplishments & recommendations.
  • Communicare and collaborate cross-functionality across the company with sales, business development, product marketers, engineering, & HR to execute customer-centric marketing plans that highlight our innovative products and capabilities.


Experience Required


  • 1-3 years relevant experience in marketing, with a focus on execution.
  • Strong project management skills around planning and organization, with close attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities/projects with quick follow-through.
  • Experience in digital marketing and managing campaigns for tradeshows, digital ads, email, & video.
  • Skills in photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop) recommended.
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • A knack for digital technologies and software platforms to enhance content creation.
  • HTML language for updating/developing websites preferred.
  • Brings an ambitious and upbeat attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Solid experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and data analytics.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent eye for detail.
  • Able to build positive and collaborative cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience marketing products in a B2B environment a plus.
