Job Description

Perry Reid Construction is seeking a full-time skilled laborer/foreman to work on multi-housing builds, retail/office, commercial, and renovation projects in the Council Bluffs, IA area. As a skilled laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support construction projects and provide support as needed for all other tasks. This is a hands-on role that requires hard work, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.

Primary Duties include:

assist with the construction and repair of building frameworks and structures to include structural steel, metal stud, masonry, and wood framing. Prepare the layout of the project Assist superintendent with blueprints and layouts Arrange with subcontractors to deal with special areas such as heating and electrical work Estimate height, width, length, and other proportions accurately Erect, level, and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes Installation of structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed understand and be able comply with all company and OSHA guidelines
2 years of construction experience is required. Experience in commercial and residential construction is strongly preferred.

All candidates must have a valid driver's license, be at least 18 years of age and have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
