A well-established and rapidly growing general contractor is seeking an experienced

Construction Project Manager

to join their Arizona team. This role focuses on managing

retail construction projects

from preconstruction through closeout. The company has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work, maintaining long-term client relationships, and providing its employees with a stable, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of assigned retail construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Lead project planning, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution. Monitor project progress, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize delays. Review and approve subcontractor agreements, change orders, and pay applications. Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting for internal and client use. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards. Foster strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in

commercial construction

; retail project experience required. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficient with project management software (Procore experience a plus). Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
