JOB DETAILS Founded in 1988, Healy Construction is an established Family-Owned Nationwide General Contractor specializing in new commercial construction for both public and private Clients. We are located in Crestwood, Illinois - about 30 minutes south of Midway airport. Candidate must be local to the Chicagoland area or willing to relocate. Our continued growth has created an immediate need for a highly motivated Construction Project Manager who is a both a team player and has passion for exceeding Client\xe2\x80\x99s expectations. We are Client-focused \xe2\x80\x93 delivering construction projects on schedule and within budget, no matter the scope. Project Manager will be responsible for budgeting, scheduling, implementing, and completing projects including ground up, new construction, open store remodel and tenant build outs, among other turn key solutions. Duties:

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverable and estimate costs.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review the work progress on daily basis.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience in construction management with a minimum of 5 years\' experience in commercial construction.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes means and methods.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
• Familiarity with construction management software.
• Ability to plan and see the \xe2\x80\x9cbig picture\xe2\x80\x9d.
• Competent in conflict and crisis management.
• Leadership and resource management skills.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering and/or equivalent field experience.
