Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Bladensburg, Maryland / REMOTE apart from customer site visits
Description: We\'re looking for a Construction Project Manager for a well-established general contractor in the DC area. You\'ll be responsible for all aspects of project management for federal and commercial renovation and new vertical construction. This is a full-time position with benefits. It is a remote position except for on-site visits as needed.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Project Start Up
- Review suppliers and subcontract proposals and issues PO\xe2\x80\x99s and subcontracts
- Identify long lead items and critical path work
- Develop schedule of value billing formats
- Coordinate with the customer
Project Execution:
- Compile and submit necessary health and safety documentation, material submittals, and coordinate required permits
- Work closely with Superintendent to track work progress and daily cost analysis, identifying where production rates were met or may have fallen short, and proposing solutions where needed
- Identify and price necessary scope changes and identify their schedule implications
- Complete monthly invoicing, and WIP analysis
- Minimum of 2+ years of project management experience in the commercial construction industry
- Ability to use ProCore and MS Project as tools to assist in management of work
- Must have USACE experience
