Overview

West Wind Reinforcing, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating, with the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

Receive requests directly from customers and communicate effectively to ensure customer expectations are met. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms. Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals to clients. Revise bids as needed when addendums and/or new plans become available. Maintain organized records of all estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects. Provide ongoing support by reviewing change orders.

Experience

Proven experience in construction estimating with a minimum of three years. Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed with an understanding of fundamentals in estimating and project controls. The ability to breakdown construction operations into a logical sequence of activities. Good time management skills. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience using computers for a variety of tasks, including applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams. Proficiency in using Bluebeam is preferred.

Pay: $74,646.00 - $80,835.00 per year
