Fann Contracting, Inc., a trusted Prescott family-owned business for over 60 years, is seeking a proactive and hands-on

Construction Controller.

This key position reports directly to the CFO and oversees the company's entire accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, job costing, payroll, inventory, lien waivers, equipment accounting, and bank reconciliations.



As Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in job cost forecasting and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. You will also lead both internal and external audits and ensure compliance with all necessary federal and state reporting requirements.

Minimum Education, Experience and Training:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. Ten (10) years of accounting experience and (5) years of supervisory experience required. Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office 365, and similar systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in construction accounting or public accounting/CPA background. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the company's entire accounting function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Lead, coach, and mentor a team of seven accounting professionals Manage job cost forecasting, project reporting, and variance analysis Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Coordinate and lead internal and external audits Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Streamline accounting systems, policies, and internal controls Collaborate with project managers and department heads to support business goals

This is a full-time, exempt position with standard work hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) in an office-based environment.
