Job Overview


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in supporting construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of project management, quality control, and site coordination are executed efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, experience in construction estimating, and a solid understanding of quality inspection and construction site operations. Responsibilities



Coordinate and manage daily administrative functions related to construction projects, including documentation, scheduling, and reporting. Assist in developing and reviewing construction estimates and budgets to ensure accuracy and adherence to project scope. Oversee quality control processes by conducting inspections and quality assurance checks throughout the construction phases. Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines. Maintain comprehensive records of project activities, change orders, RFIs, and other critical documentation. Collaborate with field teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and construction specifications. Monitor progress on-site through regular inspections and coordinate corrective actions as needed. Facilitate communication between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Assist with procurement processes including tracking materials and equipment deliveries. Ensure adherence to all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Requirements



Proven experience in construction management or related roles within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project management principles, and quality control procedures. Experience with construction inspection and site supervision is highly desirable. Electrical experience or background in electrical systems is a plus. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in relevant software tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or other project management platforms is preferred. A background in electrical systems or technical trades can be advantageous for certain projects.
