We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as a
Swing Shift Office Concierge
for a prestigious, modern office building in a prime location. This is a critical, high-visibility role that blends premium customer service with robust security management, making you the welcoming face and the guardian of our property and tenants.
The Opportunity: A Dual-Focus Role
This unique swing shift position requires balancing superior hospitality with rigorous security protocols. You will be the primary point of contact for all tenants and visitors during the evening, weekend and late-night hours, ensuring a safe, professional, and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Security & Building Oversight
Vigilant Lobby Presence:
Maintain constant alertness and professional decorum in the lobby, serving as the immediate deterrent and first responder to any unusual activity.
Comprehensive CCTV Monitoring:
Actively and consistently monitor the building's security camera system, identifying and reporting any security breaches, maintenance issues, or suspicious behavior throughout the premises.
Access Control:
Politely and firmly enforce building access procedures for tenants, vendors, and guests, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the facility.
Incident Reporting:
Accurately document all security incidents, maintenance concerns, and irregular occurrences during the shift.
Important Note:
The shift schedule includes
two mandatory overnight shifts
per week.
The ability to remain fully alert, focused, and capable throughout overnight hours is non-negotiable.
2. Concierge & Logistics Management
First Impression Excellence:
Provide a warm, professional, and efficient welcome to all tenants, clients, and visitors, upholding the building's high-end image.
Package Logistics & Accountability:
Meticulously log all incoming and outgoing packages and deliveries (from major carriers to office owners) using established procedures, ensuring secure and traceable handover.
Tenant Support:
Respond professionally to tenant inquiries and relay messages/requests to property management as necessary.
Software Proficiency (A Major Plus):
Experience utilizing
BuildingLink
or similar property management/concierge software for communication, work orders, and tracking is a significant advantage.
3. Light Maintenance & Presentation
Perform light cleaning, tidying, and organizational duties within the main lobby area and reception desk to ensure the building's immediate entrance always presents immaculately.
What We're Looking For:
Proven Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a security, concierge, hospitality, or front-desk role, preferably within a corporate, residential, or high-rise environment.
Impeccable Professionalism:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor.
Technological Aptitude:
Proficiency with computers, logging software, and experience with CCTV systems.
Dependability & Focus:
A high level of reliability and the demonstrated ability to maintain focus and alertness, particularly during overnight shifts.
Discretion:
Proven ability to handle sensitive information and situations with confidentiality and tact.
