Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Radio Frequency (RF) Component Engineer to join our team in Cape Canaveral / Titusville , FL. As part of the Specialty Engineering group, we are responsible for components selection, testing, analysis and qualification of all Electrical, Electronic, Electromagnetic (EEE) parts and materials for Lockheed Martin Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program. This awesome role is specifically focused on toward engineering of RF electronic device associated with their development, procurement, and testing. The role will also require taking on task associated with a variety of other EEE parts. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

In this role:

  • You will be part of Parts, Materials and Processes team.
  • You will have opportunity to learn how to be responsible for the development, investigation, qualification, and approval of different types of electronic part types.
  • Work with parts suppliers to define screening, qualification, packaging, etc. to be performed by the manufacturer.
  • Write and review parts procurement documents for high frequency EEE parts.
  • Review test data and process flow documents for compliance to requirements.
  • Work within a team and be flexible to take on tasks outside of your comfort zone.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or other engineering discipline/STEM field.
  • Basic knowledge with circuit card sub-assembly components (RF Diplexer, resistors, transistors, inductors, isocoupler, sensors, etc.)
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a
government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills:
  • One (1) to two (2) years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in component engineering, design, or manufacturing.
  • Strong communication, organization, and planning skills.
  • Desire to gain knowledge and develop engineering technical skills.
  • Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced team environment while working independently.
  • Hands on person - capable of understanding the issues and performance of RF device.
  • Exposure to electronic manufacturing and/or inspection experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
