This is a job training program for adults over the age of 55


MaturityWorks, a program of The WorkPlace, would like to invite individuals

55 years

or older who meet the eligibility guidelines to be a part of our

Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)

by applying for open positions in Connecticut.


This Federally-funded program provides work-based training for low-income individuals 55+ who are looking to reenter the workforce by matching participants to community service assignments for up to 20 hours per week. This is a supportive training and employment program that is designed to improve the employability of older workers. Specific assignments are tailored to the interests and abilities of individuals enrolled in the program.

MaturityWorks has immediate openings in all Connecticut counties. $16.35/per hour. Max. 20 hours per week.

Veterans, spouses of Veterans, persons with disabilities, minorities, limited English or persons with barriers to employment are encouraged to apply. All participants are required to provide documentation of income to meet Federal guidelines.
