: Community Outreach Representative (Teen Mental Health Services)
Company Overview
Build Bright is an LA-based residential treatment center dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for teenagers facing primary mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and related disorders. Our program combines therapeutic interventions, academic support, and family involvement in a supportive environment to help teens build resilience and thrive. We're expanding our referral network to connect more families in underserved areas with our specialized services.
Job Summary
We're seeking motivated Community Outreach Representatives to build relationships with local behavioral health providers, hospitals, educators, and other referral partners. This is a flexible, remote, commission-only role ideal for professionals in education, mental health, or community services who have strong local networks. You'll earn generous commissions for each successful admission you facilitate, helping families access life-changing care while building your income on your own schedule. No base salary--pure performance-based earnings with uncapped potential.
Key Responsibilities
Build and leverage relationships with local schools, therapists, pediatricians, counselors, parent groups, hospitals, outpatient programs and community organizations to identify teens (ages 12-17) who could benefit from residential mental health treatment.
Educate potential referrers and families about our program's benefits, including tailored therapies (e.g., DBT, CBT, experiential therapy), on-site education, and family support.
Screen and qualify leads to ensure they meet admission criteria (e.g., primary mental health needs, insurance/affordability alignment).
Coordinate initial consultations and facilitate referrals to our admissions team.
Attend occasional virtual training sessions and comply with all privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
Requirements
Strong connections in local communities, ideally in education, healthcare, or youth services (e.g., school counselors, private therapists, or parent advocates).
Passion for mental health advocacy and helping teens/families in crisis.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to handle sensitive topics with empathy.
Self-motivated with a sales-oriented mindset--experience in networking, sales, or affiliate marketing is a plus.
Access to reliable internet and basic tech tools for virtual communication.
Compensation
100% commission-based: Earn $500-$2,000 per successful admission (based on length of stay and payer type--details provided upon application).
Uncapped earnings--top performers can generate significant income through high-volume referrals.
Payouts issued monthly upon verified admissions.
No quotas, but incentives for milestones (e.g., bonus for 5+ referrals in a quarter).
