CTH is a not-for-profit healthcare system with 240 licensed acute care beds, fully accredited by the Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ). Summary

Under the direction of the Communications and Marketing Manager, the Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing marketing content that effectively tells the story of Carson Tahoe Health, promotes services, enhances its brand image, and engages with its target audience.


The Communications Specialist collaborates with the marketing team to serve various stakeholders, including administrators, department heads, physicians, and external partners, to create engaging and impactful marketing materials.

Qualifications

Required
o Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field


o Proven experience in content writing, visual design, social media management, event coordination


o Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).


o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


o Strong organizational and project management abilities.


o Mission-driven and creative mindset with a passion for values-based communication.


o Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


Preferred
o Familiarity with healthcare industry trends and marketing practices
