Willow Creek\'s Communications staff helps carry the mission, vision, and values of Willow into our church and community. By equipping the Willow South Barrington campus and Care Center as effective brand ambassadors and creating engaging and inspiring content, we remove barriers so that people can experience the love of God and take next steps in their faith journey. As the South Barrington & Care Center Communications Coordinator you will oversee all mediums of communication and marketing for the South Barrington Campus and the Willow Creek Care Center, collaborating with the Central Marcom team in the development, implementation, and upkeep of print materials, social media platforms, digital and print advertising, and the website. You will foster a positive culture by recruiting and developing a volunteer support team and providing clear pathways for congregational and guest engagement and feedback. In addition, you will support South Barrington campus leaders in executing communication plans and developing content that help people take next steps to love God, love people, and change the world.
Job Responsibilities

  • Digital platform management and content creation/asset management for websites (willowcreekcarecenter.org, willowsb.org), Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Emails/Hubspot, Texting Services, in-room service slides, and Weekly App Updates.
  • Utilize analytics and trends to apply learnings
  • Creation and/or facilitation of print materials and communication/engagement strategy.
  • Utilize and implement design and brand assets (provided by Central Marcom) with consistency across mediums and ministries to ensure clear messaging with actionable next steps.
  • Participate in staff/team meetings, CC staff coverage rotation, and the planning/execution of campus-wide outreach events
  • Recruit, equip, and engage volunteer communications team to support campus-wide communication needs

Education and Experience:
  • Proven experience in implementing a brand with visual and written content
  • Adobe experience preferred (Ps, Ai, Id, Lr)
  • Knowledge of Hubspot or other mass email platforms G-Suite or Microsoft Office
  • Writing, editing, proofreading
