Position Overview



The Jacksonville Commercial Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of commercial roofing projects. This includes project planning, coordination, scheduling, execution and closeout. The role involves working closely with customers, subcontractors, general contractors and internal department team to ensure successful project delivery and completion. The Commercial Roofing Project Manager will oversee and manage all commercial department roofing projects from inception to completion to ensure that roofing projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities



Project Planning and Coordination:



Develop and manage commercial schedules and budgets for each project Coordinate and communicate with customers, general contractors, architects, engineers, etc. to understand project requirements and scope. Prepare and review project proposals, contracts, and change orders Obtain necessary approvals for roofing projects

Team Management:



Supervise and direct roofing crews and subcontractors Ensure that team members adhere to safety regulations and company policies Conduct regular project meetings to review progress and address issues

Quality Assurance:



Monitor and ensure the quality of work meets industry standards and project specifications Inspect completed work and address any deficiencies or issues Oversee the use of materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements

Budget and Financial Management:



Track project expenses and manage budgets to avoid overruns Prepare financial reports for management as needed

Client Relations:



Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and general contractors throughout the project Address concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner Provide regular updates to customers on project status, timelines and changes

Safety and Compliance:



Work with superintendents to ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site

Documentation and Reporting:



Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, inspection reports, photographs, issues, etc. in CRM Prepare and submit progress reports to customers and team

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Construction Management Preferred, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred) Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial roofing or a related field Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques Excellent project management and organizational skills Strong general fluency with computers and programs including Microsoft Excel, Word, and BlueBeam Revu Proficiency in project management software and tools and CRM software Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure All relevant certifications are a plus

Physical Requirements:



Ability to work on construction sites and access various heights Physical stamina to handle the demands of project management in the field

Work Environment:



Typically office-based with frequent site visits

May require occasional travel to project sites

Job Type & Salary Range:



Full-time & $85,000-120,000, depending on experience

Projected Total Compensation: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
