Job Summary This position is responsible for supporting construction loan administration and servicing commercial and SBA loans for all types of collateral. Functions as part of a team and individually to ensure a high level of customer service to internal customers as well as bank clients in a professional manner. Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned duties in accordance with the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Mission, Vision and Core Values; and provide the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s customers with timely, responsive and exceptional service in accordance with the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s customer service standards
  • Provide administrative support for business, SBA, construction, and commercial real estate loans on an ongoing, day-to-day basis, including note boarding, servicing, file maintenance, draw support and research.
  • Administer construction loans, including ordering inspections and title date-downs, reviewing invoices, lien waivers, prepare and balance loan budgets, and process draws. In addition, would be responsible for assisting with the monthly reporting required for construction loan portfolio and maintaining up-to-date construction draw procedures.
  • Assist with appraisal orders, inquiries, and payment of invoices. Assist with maintaining an up-to-date approved appraiser list.
  • Perform quality control review, post-closing, for accuracy of loan boarding to ensure data matches the loan documents.
  • Analyze collateral to ensure flood requirements meet regulation. Ensure loan closing packages meet bank flood policy prior to disbursing loan proceeds and completing data input into core system.
  • Assist with information gathering for ongoing audits and exams.
  • Identify and resolve exceptions through research and monitoring of system output.
  • Responsible for providing outstanding customer service and responding to requests, including escalating problems and making recommendations to internal and external customers.
  • Balance general ledger accounts daily and prepare monthly certifications.
  • Review daily system reports and resolve issues as needed.
  • Process participation loan activity, to include note boarding, monthly balancing and payment remittances.
  • Prepare and process payoff quotes and collateral releases.
  • Scan loans into the AccuAccount imaging system in a timely manner, ensuring that the system is properly maintained with sufficient documentation for third-party loan review.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of, and compliance with, all banking regulations related to the lending function and other areas of the Bank as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial & construction loan administration.
  • Familiarity with real estate terminology and knowledge of commercial and commercial real estate lending practices.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Exceptional client service skills, both internal and external.
  • Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation and closing processes.
  • Proficient computer skills with collaboration and productivity tools including Windows-based operating systems and office suites (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); spreadsheet applications to organize data used for advanced data analysis; internet; email; and bank software.
