As we expand nationally, we're hiring a talented

Commercial Construction Estimator / Project Manager

who can manage projects from

preconstruction to closeout

, combining analytical estimating skills with strong leadership in the field.

Position Summary

The Estimator / Project Manager plays a dual role -- leading

cost estimating, budgeting, and bidding

, while also managing

construction schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships

once awarded.
This position requires

travel across the U.S.

to oversee active job sites and ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to Connor Construction's standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed

estimates, takeoffs, and bid proposals

for commercial projects across multiple divisions.

Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate

subcontractor and supplier bids. Build and maintain

project budgets, schedules, and buy-out logs.

Oversee daily operations, including

RFI management, submittals, and change orders.

Conduct

project kickoffs, progress meetings, and closeout documentation.

Perform

value engineering

and identify cost-saving opportunities. Manage field coordination with

superintendents, vendors, and clients.

Ensure all safety, quality, and schedule goals are met.

Travel nationally

for job site visits, client meetings, and project turnover.

Qualifications

5+ years

of commercial construction estimating and/or project management experience. Proven track record with

tenant improvements, retail, restaurant, and ground-up builds.

Strong understanding of

CSI divisions, construction methods, and building codes.

Skilled in

Procore, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, MS Project, Excel, or similar tools.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Bachelor's degree in

Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field

preferred. Ability to

travel up to 50% nationwide.
