Collections Specialist Specialty Pharmacy Infusion
Job Description
Position Summary: The Collections Specialist is responsible for resolving overdue claims and collecting payments from patients and insurance companies. Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies. \xc2\xb7 Follow up on unpaid claims within company policy timeframe. \xc2\xb7 Create and submit appeals for denied claims. \xc2\xb7 Assists clients and staff with referral questions when needed. \xc2\xb7 Post payments to the patient\xe2\x80\x99s accounts as they are received from insurance and patients. \xc2\xb7 Identify any potential overpayments and underpayments and submit refund requests as needed. \xc2\xb7 Send statements to patients. \xc2\xb7 Request adjustments as needed. \xc2\xb7 Resolve patient issues and complaints concerning billing. \xc2\xb7 Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts. \xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned This position is 8:00-4:30MST Monday through Friday. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits:
