Position Summary: The Billing Specialist is responsible for submitting accurate claims to insurance companies, ensuring everything is coded correctly, and all codes are being billed properly. Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Preparation and review of insurance claims prior to billing. \xc2\xb7 Submit claims to insurance carriers through clearing house, fax, mail or website. \xc2\xb7 Assists clients and staff with referral questions when needed. \xc2\xb7 Post payments to the patient\xe2\x80\x99s accounts as they are received from insurance and patients. \xc2\xb7 Request adjustments as needed. \xc2\xb7 Resolve patient issues and complaints concerning billing. \xc2\xb7 Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts. \xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned Competency Statements: \xc2\xb7 Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with little oversight. \xc2\xb7 Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks. \xc2\xb7 Builds and maintains customer satisfaction with the products and services offered by the organization; provides excellent service to internal and external customers. \xc2\xb7 Understands and learns from what others say. \xc2\xb7 Identifies, collects, and organizes data for analysis and decision-making. \xc2\xb7 Adapting to and working with a variety of situations, individuals, and groups. Required Experience and Education Experience: \xc2\xb7 Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in infusion therapy or related healthcare services. \xc2\xb7 Experience working with healthcare insurance. \xc2\xb7 Experience in Customer service. Education:

• High School diploma or Equivalent.

This position is 8:00-4:30CST Monday through Friday. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits:
