Job Summary:

Do you have the ability to work independently, take initiative, produce high-level work product, and communicate effectively? Bring your talents and expertise to work by joining our team at Rock Dental Brands. We are an established yet innovative and growing company providing support to over 80 dental and orthodontic practices. As a Collection Account Specialist for our Revenue Cycle department, you will be responsible for resolving overdue bills and collecting payments from those who owe, specific tasks to assist in the process of identifying, collecting, and managing revenue from payers based on the services provided. You will play a valuable role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely processes in the revenue cycle management are adhered to.

Responsibilities:

Review account data for accuracy Identify & resolve outstanding billing issues Investigate historical data for debts and bills Process payments and refunds Contacts clients for overdue billing matters via phone, email, text, voicemail and mail Negotiates & establish partial payments and payment plans when possible Update accounts based on their status records Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or similar role Excellent knowledge of billing procedures Knowledge of various collection techniques Comfortable working with targets Knowledge of collection laws and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills High school diploma
